ORYMI: Sound and Light Performance

An interactive sound installation at Galerie Quynh where sensors on living plants pick up their electrical activity and turn it into music, so the plants together form an orchestra of sounds and textures. Interactive video by Nguyễn Hoàng Giang (Vietnam Media Lab) responds to how visitors move through the room, and touching the plants changes what you hear, which makes the audience part of the work. Brought to the city by French electronic musicians Baptiste Pierre (Ctrl Alt Supp) and Leslie Morrier, as part of the French Institute's Novembre Numérique 2026. Free entry. Open 10am to 3pm on October 23, then 10am to 7pm on October 24 and 25, last entry 6:30pm. Note that cars cannot use Nguyễn Văn Thủ between 4:30pm and 5:30pm on weekdays (school run); bike and car parking at 2 Nguyễn Thành Ý.
