Đất nước mùa xuân: Văn Giáo retrospective

Marking 110 years since the birth of painter Văn Giáo (1916 to 1996), this retrospective at the Fine Arts Museum covers a career spent travelling, observing and painting the country through decades of upheaval. Văn Giáo helped establish gouache as a serious medium in Vietnamese art, and the show gathers work from his student days at the Indochina Fine Arts College through his years as a war artist. Open daily 8am to 5pm until October 6, free entry.
